Hello and thank you for visiting the site. I would like to begin by telling you why I started this web site. I began working from home in 2008 with a company by the name of Liveops, Inc.. Over the years, I came to learn about many other good work from home opportunities. Many friends and family were always inquiring with me about possible opportunities for themselves so, I decided to start the website. It made more sense to have a website where I could direct everyone to go and they could view all the opportunities at once. Until starting the site I spent many hours on the phone or through e-mails trying to help others find work. It became very clear there was a huge and important need for the site.
On a more personal note, I was born in 1959 and will let you do the math. I am a 3 time cancer survivor of 3 different cancers. The first cancer discovery was when I was 18 months old and it was Neuroblastoma. The cancer was all through my bone marrow and around my left kidney. After a year or so and many prayers from family and friends it was completely gone one day leaving as quickly as it came never to return. That's the elevator pitch version of the story and was miracle number one for me. To this day there is no cure for Neuroblastoma. It is a common childhood cancer and has taken the lives of many. Several years later I had a cancerous tumor in my uterus. The tumor was randomly found during a surgery I had undertaken so that was miracle number 2 for me. In 2005, I was diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer. It had reached that stage due to a misdiagnosis earlier. By the time it was found the cancer cells had already broken through the Lymph nodes and was traveling throughout my blood stream all over my body. The diagnosis was grim and the medical world expected the cancer to show up again within a couple of years even though I endured surgery and treatments. Again, many prayers were sent up for me and I well remember the night I received my healing from Father God. I felt it. I knew it was His hand. I was told I would not see my son graduate from high school but you can do the math and it has certainly been longer than a couple of years since 2005. You can read the details of my healing story in a book written by Brenda Ladun, head news anchor for the Birmingham, Alabama ABC news affiliate titled "Behind The Scenes of Breast Cancer." My story is at the beginning of the third chapter, in her book. You may find the book on Amazon or in Books-A-Million stores. You may also, find Brenda on Facebook.
I currently live in Florida but in 2005, I was awarded a Life Inspiration Award from The American Cancer Society for my home state of Alabama and founded a nonprofit, United Cancer Survivors of America, Inc.. God has blessed my life so much and it is my desire to give back and help others in any way possible. Even though the job center site was started as a way for me to help friends and family or people who just randomly asked me about working from home the Lord has lead me to take another step forward in promoting the site so that it may reach and help many others, as well. I hope you will help me with my mission of spreading the word about the web site. There are so many people without work or who have no transportation to get to a job and they could be working, if they only knew about these opportunities. These opportunities are also, great for military spouses, for example, who get transferred periodically because in most cases, they can take their jobs with them wherever they go.
For my final thought I would like to address any concern about a "work from home" rip off. The best rule of thumb to go by is that if the company is asking you to give them money or make some type of investment in their company first, then that is not a "job" but rather a home business opportunity or a possible scam. The only time you may be asked to pay any money for a work from home job would be if you are applying for a customer service type position where you will be privy to someone's personal or credit card info therefore, you will be asked to take part in a back ground check. Back ground checks are normally around 50.00 and usually you will pay the company conducting the background check and not the company trying to hire you. It is not uncommon for any company to ask you to pay for your own background check.
Happy job/career hunting and I wish you every success!
